Round #3

Robert is in the hospital, right now, receiving Round #3 of chemo. Reports from family are that he is getting kind of used to this "routine"- he is at least not surprised by a lot of what happens to his body. It is still very difficult, physically and mentally. So those of you who are faithfully checking in- please continue to pray for Robert's health. And remember to pray for his family- who are with him round the clock.
Thanks,
Corey

Robert is on the loose...

Hi Great News,
Robert is not in the hospital. His lungs are doing good on their own. He is a free man!
He will be back in the hospital in a few days for round #3 of chemo. But for now, today, and for a few more days he is home- doing fun stuff and enjoying life.
Praise God.
Robert has been in the hospital since the middle of December. He deserved a break.
Thanks for your prayers.
Corey

Robert Feeling Good

Robert wants to let you know that he has had one chest/lung tube removed. He still has another one for the other lung in place. This is good, this means the lung is staying "inflated" and not collapsing.
Please pray for the other lung and successful removal of the other tube. This would greatly increase Robert's comfort level, as he could move more, sleep easier and such. It would also greatly increase his chances for getting out of the hospital in between chemo treatments.
Ephesians 1:2-4,
Corey

Robert done with chemo round #2

Hi, Corey again.
Robert came through round 2 of chemo. He said it was hard to describe- he got much more sick than round 1 and lost 15 pounds in three days- but in one days time after the chemo he put back on 5 pounds- thanks to double cheeseburgers and some good food. He has an amazing attitude.
He asked me to have us all pray for his health also especially for his family. Robert said, "This is as hard for them as it is for me."
Robbie shaved his head and I think it looks really good.
He has asked me to do this blog for now. He has read your blog comments and appreciates your thoughts and prayers. He is still getting used to having his own email- so replies may come slowly if at all.
Thanks for visiting this blog. I know that means that you are praying for Robert and his family.
May God bless you.
